It should be the easiest question in the world for Ed to answer.  After all, 
it's Ed's sacred book, a book he uses to justify his own belief system. 

Yet, all he's done is to deny the very book that gives him his faith.  

It's says a lot about how deep Ed's religious convictions real are.
