Instead of asking him to put that quote into context, you should have told

You and Sauer have been constantly badgering him, circling him like
vultures over his faith, which happens to be Mormonism.

Why does he have to be wrong and you never ever be?

You should be thankful that we successfully revived this echo and that you
do have someone to debate, if it werent for a mere few people whom are your
idealogical opposites, it wouldnt be too much fun to discuss mutual
atheism, now would it Mr Ceppa?

There comes a point when Mr Sauer does not get nor deserves special
protections for the stuff he unleashes himself, unto himself. For me to
forbid people from calling him Otto, his birth name, I would have to forbid
you from using "God Dan" and Judith from using
"Chinacat", is this what you want?

I will institute a real names rule for this echo, I actually prefer to have
that rule, as I do for other echoes I moderate. But I kept some vestiges of
the old HOLYSMOKE around. With a real names rule, I can insist that someone
be referred to by that which shows in the FROM field, hence the rationale
to protect Sauer by having what I called the "Otto Rule". However
the price for all that will affect you and Judith, is this what you want?
