Thanks for your comments. But it begs the question: Are digital
recorders semi-pro equipment? I like the Alessis equipment I have, and
love the TASCAM equipment I have, but tend to generally think of Alessis
as semi-pro and TASCAM as a higher level of semi-pro. I also consider
my Otari MX5050 recorder to be top-of-the-line professional. But it
can't compare to the digital sound from ADAT and the DA-88. When it
