-=> After drinking his 3rd cup of coffee, Fred replies to Jim
FR> I've been using Juno for about 1 1/2 years now, and I noticed that on
FR> my hard drive that I have about 176 sub directories under "Ads".
FR> So is it safe to delete most of these directories?
JV> Yes. Keep the first two tho. I think they're 0000000 and 0000001
JV> Some of the current ones will be loaded back within a couple of
JV> days, but any of the older ones that were not deleted
JV> automatically will be gotten rid of.
OK, I will try this and see what happens.
JV> I deleted all of mine last weekend, and by wednesday I was back
JV> up to 50.
JV> There was a company out on the West coast that offered free
JV> internet. They opened another "node" in Tampa last year. I
JV> dunno if they ever flew, but the catch was you had to look at
JV> their ads. After seeing the ads that JUNO sends out, I'd rather
JV> pay for an ISP......
What is "ISP"?
One problem with the internet is that I would be tying up my phone line
for long periods of time, and I can't do that since I have a part time
business at home.
Best regards,
Fred
