This assumption is getting to be rarely held. Lot of people put them elves
in bubbles...Political (reading only what corresponds to their opinion)
Religious, desiring to be uncaring about the world's
complexity...surrounded by the like-minded...leading a comfortable and
(let's say) a morally directed life...

If by 'bible' is meant holy books...and THEIR various
interpretations...there's a crazy-big numbers of choices...atheism is an
easy one mentally, a poor one socially, a third rail politically...being
agnostic is even easier

all-knowing
-> god would know that grasshoppers have 6 legs and bats aren't birds,

-> And no matter how the apologists try to twist it and say that the

Don't forget planting those old bones in them mountains...most people
say that those contradictions and inaccuracies are contradictions and
errancies. As are all science books printed more than 70 years ago...

, they don't seem to see that what they are really saying is that
-> their god is a liar.
That those who speak for him are continually questioned, which is a major
theme in that old book. From what I gather, the Old Man (Man! :-) ...is
forever screaming "You don't get it! You misunderstand me!!" (Wilson
translation.)
I still enjoy readin' that book...for some 65 years now...I'm NOT a
dispensationalst, but it's a interesting conjecture: That evolution is not
restricted to man but God develops as He goes along..
