If I knew the answer to that, I'd probably be famous. Perhaps people like my
sister surround themselves with like-minded people so they never have to
question their instincts/opinions?  All that confirmation day in, day out...
what else can you expect. All I know is we grew up in the same house, and there
our similarities end.  I read a lot.  She didn't.  We are as opposite as can
be.

Then you can look at people like P.T. Barnaum.. "A fool and his money are soon
parted"...  "there's a sucker in every crowd"... and so on.

Dangerously so, at least for some of them.  Like the fellow you mentioned in
the article in The Onion below.
