Replying to a message of Richard Webb to Bob Ackley: BA>> Jake has a deformity of some sort WRT his jaw. His left side lower BA>> fang sticks out to the side instead of parallel with the others. I BA>> don't think it can be repaired, but I'll ask the vet. He's gonna BA>> need shots later this year, and if his owner can't keep him he'll BA>> need an ID chip and tag. RW>> GIven some love and attention sounds like he'll be a darned RW>> good dog. I hope for your sake his owner recovers . RW> Just curious how Jake was doing, or if he's still with you RW> . He's still here. Apparently his late owner's family didn't even know about him and doesn't want him anyway. I talked to Walt's employer, he'd been wondering where the dog went, but he doesn't really want him either. So far as everybody involved is concerned the dog is mine. Gotta get him scheduled to be neutered and chipped next spring. I didn't want to spend any money on him (other than for food) until his ownership could be clarified. --- FleetStreet 1.19+* Origin: Bob's Boneyard, Emerson, Iowa (1:300/3) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 300/3 116/901 3634/12 123/500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
