RW> Instead of piling on a bunch of MP3 files, try building the CD with WAV RW> files. I had this same problem a few years ago that you're having and the RW> latter was the fix. I have two CDs that I made with Vonda Shepard, one in RW> MP3 and one in WAV...The MP3 wouldn't play in my 95 Z28, but it will play RW> in my 1998 Z28. Must be the player design. Thanks for the advice, Roy. I figured it out. Evidently the speed I was burning them at was a little too fast for the Lincoln's CD player, so I redid the exact same selection of tunes a short while ago at the next slowest speed using the Windows burner and it came out fine. Amen to that! On another note, and a sad one, drag race driver Scott Kalitta was killed today. I caught the tail end of it on the news somewhere and tuned in to the channel that was supposed to show drag races, but they are postponed until tomorrow to give everyone a chance to regroup.
