Mark--
Some time ago, in response to my post about how I could get Word7 to
show the "Open File" box with the default of "All Files" (rather than
Word documents only), you suggested a macro called AutoExec. Here is
the text as I believe you gave it to me:
Sub MAIN
Dim dlg As AutoExec
GetCurValues dlg
dlg.Name = "*.*"
Dialog dlg
AutoExec dlg
End Sub
I also attached this macro to the Word command line as you
instructed, so that Word starts with ". . . WINWORD.EXE AUTOEXEC" in the
command line.
When I open Word, however, I get a warning box (?) [yellow triangle
with an exclamation point] that says in the title bar:
"WordBasic Err=122" and inside the box says "Type mismatch."
Any suggestions about how to cure this problem. I *really* would
like Word to open every time defaulting to the "All Files" type in the
Open File box.
Thanks for the help!
