SB> Emma Engle. She's the 90 year old lady who has the
SB> East Greenwich library in her house (on King's Higway),
Yes! Not that she'd remember me, but back when she must have been
about 75 we got to chatting and I got a tour of her place, with a
stop in the kitchen for tea, and then we headed outdoors and checked
out her garden. She gave me a piece of her quince to try to root,
but it didn't make it. :( She was instrumental and supportive
in the preparation of a book "Older Homes of Mickleton" that lists
every owner as far back as it can be traced. errr.... (blush)
BTW - I know who the original owners of our property were, I just
don't know their names. They left a perfect arrowhead in the garden
for me to find. It appears to have been made of quartz.
KS> SB> I can drop you off a copy at
> SB> your workplace if you let me know where it is.
It's probably best to forget the workplace idea as I'm temping for
an agency at the moment. I work short term assignments (just
finished one) and don't know where the next will take me. By the
time we decide "where", I'll be gone.
SB> Richman's would be fine; so would a restaurant in Delaware, for that
SB> matter. I know my way around northern Delaware fairly well, and if we
SB> met during the work day, that would almost certainly be easier for
SB> you.
I don't know my way around DE as well as you do, but I do know
a place on Rt. 40 in Governors Square Plaza, Bear, the "Italian Oven".
Bear, DE, is roughly the area to where I'd like to relocate if life
works out that way. If you tell me the town where you live, I could
look up your number and give you a call. You're very welcome to call
me. It would make these arrangements easier. Yes. (?) :) If a
grouch (the ex) answers the phone, please ignore him. He's one of
the rude children that Jim spoke of, but grown up now.
