Hello!
Another question for you:
If I allocate global memory using the Windows 3.1-API
function HANDLE GlobalAlloc(WORD, DWORD), what do I do with
the returned handle?
Background:
I want to make a virus scanner. That needs to keep the virus
signatures in memory while scanning. But I do not want to use
64K-Segments because it would be 1. too slow and 2. obsolete,
and now I want to know how to do memory allocation, memory
access (especially with sizes greater than 64 kB).
I'm using Borland C++ 3.1 for Windows 3.1.
Thank you for your answer!
P.S.: Thanks to the people who helped me (Digital Sound Processor).
Richard
