It IS fun .... I'm just now starting to show a "return" on monies paid
ut
-- we're still way in the hole but we ARE managing to work our way out of
hat
"hole" now. (Then I find I really need a draft horse and we're down in that
hole again ).

I know ..... I SHOULD have had TWO of everything .....AFter
all, I DID take TWO horses . BUT, where there's a will, there's
way.
We found a nice leather shop in a town about 50 miles from here (none
closer ). We took a drive up there yesterday (Saturday) and ask if
hey
could fix that harness - we explained what had happened. They said they
ould
try but they normally didn't work on harness stuff ....... we went off for a
couple of hours and when we got back they had it all fixed. They were SO
ind
and nice!! And they only charged us $5 (and then apoligized becuase that was
a
minimum charge). In the meantime, we have a friend up in that town who has a
little of everyting -- he loaned us another piece of harness for a "just in
case" for as long as we need it. It must have been our day yesterday !!
The MAYOR of LaBelle called us last night and ask if she could hire the
carriage for an hour on Monday night -- she would like to take 3 of her city
employees around to look at the Christmas lights in LaBelle ..... sure glad
e
were able to get that harness fixed . This oughtta' be a fun job too!!!
