DA> What the heck is a packet sorter and why do I need one?
PacketSort(er) is a program which takes all of your incoming .PKT files, and
merges them into one large packet. It also groups the message(s) for each
area together. When Squish reads this large packet, it doesn't have to jump
around from area to area, which speeds up processing considerably.
In my case, without PacketSort, I get about 8msgs/sec. With PacketSort, I am
now getting between 25 and 45 msgs/sec (sometimes even more). Ofcourse, the
4meg disk cache helps a lot too.
