Chill factor drives British Grand Prix

SILVERSTONE, England (Jul 7, 1998 - 11:27 EDT) - Organisers will keep
corporate guests cool during the red-hot action of Sunday's British Grand
Prix at Silverstone by bringing in 40 tons of ice cubes.

They will help chill the 20,000 bottles of champagne and 16,500 bottles of
white wine which will be served to the 25,000 people enjoying Europe's
largest one-day hospitality event.

Caterers will also treat the guests to 17,000 helpings of chicken and a ton
of the finest Scottish salmon, while the amount of cling film used would
cover the 3.194-mile track nearly 10 times over.
