Even the paint job, although RW> they used very expensive paint, they painted over rust. The white on that RW> car is the Cadillac Diamond White, which almost glows in the dark. I RW> priced that stuff, thinking I'd like to have it painted with that color RW> again. The red is a Ford pickup color, also nearly glows in the dark. Why would anyone in their right mind paint over rust with expensive paint? I mean, it's tough enough and very time consuming to get an even application over the entire car (I have poco experience at that) without resorting to that. What a complete waste! RW> Rather than buy that expensive paint and two tone it like it is, I'm RW> going to paint it blue and might just two tone it with black, but in a RW> different 56 scheme. You going to use enamel or lacquer? RW> I think the Z28 sits lower than your Lincoln. It's probably a mile or RW> two faster than your Lincoln too. The best part, 305 rear wheel RW> horsepower and it still gets 25mpg on the highway. It's very close. I get between 17-25 in town (17 if my daughter drives) and depending on the speed I'm travelling on the highway, the MPG varies. For example, at 55 the readout on the message display reads 35 with the A/C off and 32 with the A/C on. My daughter drives the way I used to when I was still drag racing. (-: Regards, Roger ...
