subject: New PDN files at PRISM BBS

Hello Dave,
GP> Could be. In any case, Prism is not just any BBS.
 GP> And Janice does not
GP> inform us of just any files. Since I am a shareware author, I
GP> happen to know that Janice is a big mover and shaker in shareware
GP> distribution. She has done a couple for me. Include a hard fought
 DM> oh.. I was unaware. What's prism's number? I'll check
DM> it out although I must admit I hate shareware..
Not just shareware.. there was a time when pretty much all the code released
in the PDN was freeware - from people in the echos like this one. Times have
changed.. it seems some programmers are moving back to the 'I have this
knowledge that you don't have' mentality which keeps them from wanting to
share ideas, code, etc. with other for the sake of programming.
If you've got internet www, ftp or telnet access you can visit the PDNASM
collection (and everything on my system) at jkracht.aye.net. The bbs land
line phone number is in this message if you don't.
And.. if you want me to call your system and pick something up to distribute,
just let me know .
Take care,
Janis
