BL> One way around a city getting picky on courier deliveries is have
BL> absolutely everything that can be, sent by mail.
I wasn't the one who lives in a picky city. What my company has is a
downtown address so that mail is delivered there and forwarded to here twice
a week. that means my home address isn't on the company stationary or ads.
It also means that it doesn't matter whether or not I move, or the company
outgrows this home office and has to have real office space, the company
address stays the same. The company also has virtual phone numbers which are
blind transfered to wherever I am so that no matter where I am the company
phone numbers stay the same. the phone numbers and address that are in the
phone book make it look as though we have a downtown office, when in fact we
aren't in Vancouver at all. So it would not matter *how* much stuff went
by mail, courier, or carrier pigeon, the same amount would come to my house:
two bundles of mail a week and whatever couriers are necessary. (There is
never one more courier than is absolutely essential - they're too expensive.)
