Concerning _JAG HOVER STRIKE_, Andy Floyd said to Troy H. Cheek in ATARI_ST:

My brain must be dead. The first thing I did when I got each of my other
JagCD games was try playing them in a regular CD player. Hmm... I've got
that portable around here somewhere...

Hey, not bad! I may have to start playing this on the way to work... Let's
see, we've got

1) "Prepare to launch"
2) Scenario background music
3) Mission select screen
4) "Mission accomplished" and accompanying music
5) Hover Strike opening theme
Huh? The opening theme that accompanies the opening FMV? The FMV must cut
off before the credit scroll starts...

Have you heard of a code or something that lets you play Jag game CDs as if
they were regular audio CDs on the JagCD player? I thought I remembered
reading something to that effect a long time ago, but of course can't recall
it now.

What I can do is start a regular audio CD playing, stop it, put in a Jag game
CD, then start playing again. Can't jump around the tracks, but it will play
the audio portions...

Oh, if your JagCD is one of the ones that resets when you open or close the
lid, leave the lid open and press and hold that little round peg sticking up
near the front. As long as you keep holding it down, you can swap CDs to
your heart's content. I'm considering doing a little switchwork to mine...
:-)
