Well, none of those 8 billion or so people have any immunity
to this coronavirus, so what else can be expected?  I mean, this
is a new kid on the block who is not yet finished meeting his
playmates.

I am not sure about immunity against COVID-19, which is caused
by the novel coronavirus affecting the world today.  I mean, humans
already have four coronaviruses flowing through their systems at it
is, without a vaccine for any of them.  A fifth coronavirus will just
be added to the total and the human race will move on from there.
