I think there is a book out about that, but when I was living in Mandeville
some years ago, a wonderful movie was made called Longitude. In those
days, there was a man (I forget his name) in England who wondered about
such things, so he made a clock entirely out of wood. The gist of it all
is that a clock on a ship at sea would have a different time than one would
have in London. I haven't seen that film in many years, so my remembrance
may be a tad off. The movie is still available, but pricey.
