I imagine that by this time, a lot of you have probably heard about, or
possibly even read about, all of the talk that's been going on regarding the
Mayan calendar and the year 2012. It seems that everyone is jumping onto the
2012 bandwagon, and making all kinds of predictions, including certain
popular Christian teachers, preachers and writers.

Personally, in my view, the very fact that this 2012 nonsense is being so
readily embraced by New Agers, Zecharia Sitchin followers, Nostradamus
followers, UFO adherents, and even some popular Christian evangelists, is
reason enough to raise some serious doubts in my mind.

I find it really odd that all of these people are so willing to embrace this
Mayan Calendar nonsense -- which is open to all kinds of interpretations,
the so-called "prophecies" of Nostradamus -- which are also open to a
variety of personal interpretations, the writings of Zecharia Sitchin and
his Twelfth Planet/Nibiru nonsense, and all of this other modern New Age
psychobabble, and yet, when it comes to the sure and proven Word of God,
many of them reject it, and claim that it is just a book full of fairy
tales. They accept all of that darkness without blinking an eye; and yet,
when it comes to the true light of God's Word, many of them reject it. I am
reminded again of this verse:

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for
light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for
bitter!"
Isaiah 5:20, KJV

But most alarming to me is the fact that even some popular Christian writers
and evangelists are hopping onto the 2012 bandwagon. Of course, I am not
really surprised by this, as a lot of them are just money-making Bible
hucksters who will grab at any theory that is popular, and try to make a
profit from it. They know that many Christians are curious about the
Endtime, and want to know what is going to happen, and when; and so they
write their books, and burn their CD's and DVD's, and they sell their
personal theories and speculations as if it is God's indisputable truth,
which it usually isn't. I advise all of you to beware of these modern false
prophets.

Let's not be too quick to forget how some of these very same false prophets
stirred up American Christians just prior to the year 2,000, and had a lot
of Christians believing that Jesus would return in 2,000. Well, we all know
how that turned out. It was an absolute lie and deception, which was
perpetrated by some of America's Christian leaders. I can only imagine how
much profit they must have earned from selling their books, DVD's, CD's,
tapes and magazines where they pushed the 2,000 lie. Of course, I wrote all

The bottom line is that, to my knowledge, the Bible does NOT mention the
year 2012 as being anything significant or special. In fact, as I have
mentioned before, the Bible is rather silent when it comes to stating
precise dates when specific Endtime events are going to happen. We are given
certain time frames, such as in the Books of Daniel and Revelation, but
nowhere are any specific dates given; so it really makes you wonder where
these Christian profiteers are getting their information from in order to
spin their 2012 tale.

If they are like writer Tom Horn, they are grabbing stuff from ancient pagan
mythology -- including ancient Egyptian mythology, Babylonian mythology,
Greek mythology, and from everywhere else -- as well as stretching the
meaning of certain words and events in the Bible, so that it will fit their
pet theory, and then piecing it all together into a hodgepodge of nonsense
which sounds interesting and believable to people who don't have a strong
foundation in God's Word, and they are selling it for a profit.

Having said that, again I advise everyone to beware of the 2012 gurus,
whether they are Christian or not. Don't fall into their traps, and don't be
foolish enough to buy their books and DVD's! If you think that the Nephilim
are going to rise in 2012, or that the false god Apollo is returning in
2012, or any of the other nonsense that they are now preaching, then you may
be in for a big letdown when nothing extraordinary happens in 2012. I warned
everyone about the 2,000 nonsense, and now I am doing the same about the
2012 nonsense.
