That's exactly what I just did , found a piece of silicone hose in the garage and cut
a piece to the same length, works like a charm now (after cleaning and greasing the
PTO screw and replacing the ball bearing aswell)
Thanks for all the replies, now the radio is one step closer to the goal :-)
