Thank you, sir ;)  I keep hoping that file announcements will encourage 
others in the programming echos to let me know when they have some code to 
distribute that I can pick up from them and share it with others, or some 
utility that will make someone else's job a little easier

Really, it's just the PDNNEWS area where you're seeing that.. the electronic 
versions of Dr. Dobbs, C/C++ Users Journal, PCMagazine.. Now and again I'll 
dig up an ASM journal (not in a while), or an asm faq but it's true most of 
it is not related directly to Asm.  Matter of fact, even the C/C++ issues are 
_swamped_ with Java now to some C programmers' dismay  .
