I've been following this conference too because of this. I noticed that 
Maximus seems to work rather well in a 2000 year environment. The only real 
problem I've noticed is in the expiration date for patron subscriptions. 2000 
becomes 1980. I've thought about dropping this.
What other problems are being reported?
