Better in this case is subjective. One tactic for speeding up servers is to 
open additional data channels. If your traffic is heavy and your data readily 
partitioned into at least two distinct groups, you can see a moderate 
throughput increase with an additional SCSI adapter. However, even a single 
SCSI adapter can overwhelm even the fastest network adapter, so an additional 
NIC or two would preceed the additional SCSI adapter.
