GD> According to Meriam-Webster, fascism is a political philosophy,
GD> movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the
GD> individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government
GD> headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social
GD> regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.
I believe that "often race" bit is not correct, or is misleading. That seemed
to be mostly a part of German Nazi fascism but was not present, at least not
until Germany interfered, in other fascist regimes.
For example, in Italy (again until Germany interfered) there were Jews in
their fascist party. That'd never have happened with the Nazis.
