In the Tuesday Tribune, there was a story about a college kid (an athlete)
who suffered an injury during a weight-training class he was taking that
was related to his football playing. Because it didn't happen on the
football field, and his mother's insurance for him was limited, he was out
a significant amount of money.

And the injury takes him off scholarship. Bummer.
