 I'd guess the concentration on something far removed from their
 everyday problems would achieve that.

 Sounds like you're missing a bet to let these slip by unphotographed
 when even a snapshot would be hilarious with story text!

 Not current on that issue any more, either, but it used to depend
 upon how well the illustrations fit with the text.  It it comes as
 a really good package it's likely to be published that way.  If a
 worthy story needs better, or different, art to hype sales, that's
 another matter.  At any rate, give it a shot.
