Our Journey is a quarterly newsletter featuring poetry,
articles, and occasional book reviews by those and for
those involved or interested in any aspect of the 
recovery process. Our Journey is self-supporting and its
existance depends on the support of those who it hopes
to help.
December's issue, which will be out this month, addresses
the topic of pain, both physical and emotional.
We also have a contest running at this time for poetry;
subject topics are Hope, Anger, Depression, or Moving
On. Prizes are $10, $8, and $5.

rates (we do offer complimentary copies to those unable to

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. Manuscripts should be typed, essays double sapced, with
the author's name and address in the upper left corner.
ONE poem to a sheet of paper please. Submissions should
not contain excessive profanity or graphic sexual material.
2. All submitted manuscripts will be considered, but we
usually do not comment on rejected material. Only 
manuscripts accompanied by a self-addressed stamped
return envelope will be acknowledged or returned. We
will respond in 4-6 weeks, usually sooner.
Material may also be submitted via e-mail. If accepted
for publication, a hard copy must then be submitted
via snail mail with the completed release form, one
form for EACH poem for more than one submission, which
will be e-mailed upon acceptance.

3. Our Journey asks for One Time Publication Rights.
4. On publication we will pay 2 copies of the issue in
which the material appears.
