Sandusky, Oh. -- Tina Gordon returned from injuries suffered in a hard
crash at Atlanta last month and drove to a 30th-place finish in the Kroger
250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the Martinsville Speedway. Gordon
achieved her goal for the weekend, to be around when the checkered flag
waved and to come away from the weekend with a truck in one piece.

At the conclusion of the event, originally scheduled for 250 laps but
extended into "overtime" because of a late-race caution, Gordon
had completed 245 of the race's 254 laps. The ThorSport team loaded the No.
13 Microtel Chevrolet back into the trailer with only minor body damage to
the nose, the result of a late-race scuffle.
