subject: injured dog, this might not be fun

HI folks,

Last night, around 10 pm, dog and I playing a bit with her
tug o' war toy and roughhousing a bit on the bed.

THen I had to get busy doing other things. STill before 10
actually, as I was giving her one more opportunity for a
trip outside so that if she found something to make noise
about the neighbors still had no legitimate complaint. For
this reason outside trips are limited after 10 unless its a
walk, or we get home late and she needs a quick out for
relief.

sO she's bouncing around doing the feisty puppy thing, three years old now,
but still full of vim vigor and vitality.

sHe lands wrong on front feet, and I think pulled muscles in left front
leg/shoulder assembly.

SInce then lies around, sort of scoots around when she must
move at all, and does this rarely. WOn't eat or drink much
as she doesn't want to expend the effort to go outside.
Sometimes she'll wake and do a lot of whining and
complaining.

I thought aspirin at first, but somebody else suggests
aspirin not a good thing.

RAn a vibrating massager over shoulders and that area which
calmed and quieted her for a bit.

IF no real improvement by tomorrow I think we're going to
have to do something. Then the fun. How do I stretcher a
130 pound rott to somebody's vehicle and then into the vet
.

I have a hand truck but that won't do for this one .

Regards,
           Richard
