Seriously ...

I have never had that problem, and I don't know what the solution is, last I 
tested it, it ran fine on Slackware 11 and a reasonably recent Debian ...

Doudt it will run on my current 64-bit Ubuntu ... , if I remember, and time 
permits, I will try it later this week-end and see if I am still one of the 
lucky few to run it on linux without problems ... , haven't needed it since 
moving to MBSE BBS ...
