When we lived in San Diego, Time Warner charged us $49 for cable and
Roadrunner. When we moved to Texas, Time Warner was charging $99 for the
same service. We signed up with the intention of getting DSL and satelite
TV eventually. Three months later, they increased the price of cable
another $10...I disconnected the very same day we received the increase
notice. I had DSL installed within a few days and DishNet within a week.
All for $60/month.
