Hello David,
LL>>>> Those who are under age 10 are apparently immune, regardless
LL>>>> of where they are.
RF>>> You're not serious, right?
LL>> Did you see a smiley?
LL>> To date, nobody under the age of 10 has died.ÿ And very few under
LL>> the age of 10 has even been infected.ÿ OTOH, one kid between the
LL>> age of 10 and 19 has kicked the bucket.ÿ So it is not as if every
LL>> kid in the entire world is immune ...
DD> And watch out if you're about 80 or over.
The global rate for concluded cases is 6% with 94% surviving.
That is 60 times higher than the death rate of the seasonal flu,
which has a lethality rate of 0.1% (lethality rate for the
coronavirus is 3.4%). Here's a chart -
Closed Cases
70,917 cases which had an outcome
66,619 (94%) recovered/ischarged
4,298 (6%) deaths
That is based on total global population, all age groups.
Lethality rate of 3.4% coronavirus (all age groups).
Lethality rate of 0% coronavirus (age 19 and under).
Lethality rate of 20 to 35% (age 80+)
The progression of infection/deaths is not linear, but exponential.
Not just parabolic, but quadratic.
To put things simply, projections show well over 1 million dead
Americans by July 4 (Independence Day). I'll let you figure out
which age group is most likely to die off first.
