Hi Simon!
SH> Problem: When Win95 starts it asks for username and password. The user
SH> (me) is the same each time.
SH> The real problem is, that as a bbs operator, I need to get rid of this
SH> startup question, so when I go on holiday, and I use a timer to restart
SH> the PC at night Win95 doesn't "hang" on this startup question.
SH> With Win95 asking for a username each time it starts up, I can't get the
SH> bbs to load automatically every time I switch the machine on.
SH> Is there a way to get Win95 to default to a user setting, and stop
sking
SH> for a username on startup?
You should set WINDOWS LOGON as your first login mode.
If there is no password it goes through without asking the second time at the
Microsoft Logon.
If you have three logons, as Novell, Microsoft and Windows itself you must
put Windows first, then Microsoft and finally Novell.
It doesn't ask you which one goes on the second place, but you can set it
this way after changing it two times.
