Hello everyone.  I learned to dive in the mid 70's and made trips out in the 
Gulf of Mexico and to Cozumel.  I stopped diving about ten years ago (funny, 
that corresponds with the beginning of my marriage) but I am starting to get 
the itch again.  My wife refuses to dive in the ocean (scared of sharks :^) ) 
but seems willing to learn to dive in fresh water (yawn).  Anyway, I figure 
I'll get her started in local lakes and try and get her interested in 'safe' 
ocean dives later.  My questions are:
What are equipment costs like now?
What do lessons cost now?
I need an update - is there a refresher or should I relearn from scratch (I 
am PADI certified but lost my C-Card years ago)?
