Actually, I don't know what he said or did thats so terrible it called for him
to resign.


I know part of it was that he called some republican an asshole. So what?
Didn't Dick Cheney tell Patrick Leahy to go fuck himself? Right on camera? In
the Senate building just outside the Senate chamber?


As for the other....the `Bush let 9\11 happen', or some such?....big deal!


I don't see any problem with any of it. So he's (Jones) a brick-bat
conspiracy-freak! So what! The vast majority of the democrats in both houses
are, too!


The problem is most of this crapola is driven by the press. Some reporter
wants to see if they can *make* some news happen.....so they lay a question on
the president; `Uh....Mr. President....do you think Mr. Jones can continue to
be an asset to your administration, after he called (whoever it was) an
`asshole'? Don't you think sir, that is over the line? Is this going to be the
benchmark of your administration?'


And Hussein, being the `running-scared' democrat that he is, starts distancing
himself from Jones.....a few more of the press take it up, and Hussein tosses
Jones under the bus!


Its stupid! They aren't going to get a `squeeky clean' bunch of people in any
branch of government. Thats what everybody wants....everybody in government to
be squeeky clean! It ain't gonna happen.


If everybody who ever applied an expletive, or nasty characterization to
someone in the opposite party in government, was forced to resign....There'd
probably be two empty chambers of the Congress!
