BR>{chuckle} yes, they can be!

Ben,

The latest in the Adventures of Ed Vance and his computers is:

On Nov 15th everytime I started Firefox I got a pop up saying it
was something about a "Buying?" feature of SiteAdvisor, so I sent
a email to McAfee with a screenshot of the pop up.

I got a reply that they wanted me to either use their website to
chat with a Tech or call the Tech on the telephone.

I'm going to call them when I can get a ROUNDTUIT.

The pop up appeared each time I opened Firefox for several days
and then quit showing up a day or two ago.

But I've noticed that since the 15th whenever I do a search on
ask.com the result list have the WOT colored rating but not the
SiteAdvisor rating.

I've found a work around by clicking on the SiteAdvisor area that
was colored Grey, and usually after doing that the colors in SA
start working until I minimize FF and open it up again and have
to go through the whole routine again....

This morning I clicked to the right of the SiteAdvisor area and
looked at the Options... and saw a Tab for "Safe Shopping
Rewards" so I UNchecked the box for "Show Safe Shopping Rewards"
and clicked on Save. Maybe that will cure the pop ups problem.
??

I Agree With You, "yes, they can be!"
