Just wanted to let you know that my vet's girlfriend's Doc Bar mare 
(palomino) gave birth this a.m. to a palomino Appendix filly!!!!  They are 
soooo thrilled!  They checked the mare at 3 a.m., 6 a.m....nothing.  They 
both went in the house to rest (although they did have a surveillance camera 
going) and fell asleep.  My vet went in at 8 a.m. and...presto!  There was 
the filly on the ground!  Mom and baby are doing fine, and this filly is 
gorgeous!!!  I was just over there (house cleaning planned for today be 
damned!) and all is well.
I'm going back sometime in the next few days with camera and video cam. I'll 
try to get you some pictures.  Just thought you'd like to know that CJ sn't 
the only mare who can throw colored fillies (g)!
