I am glad you like the block... it definitly was a challenge for me. 
Especially with my stash all moved to the the other house!!!! definitly had 
to be a bit more creative than I wanted to, to make it work... that is only 
the 2nd log cabin block I have ever made... I made a mini for Pat Knox when 
she won the mini a couple of months ago.... so my experience is quite limited 
there... I have a feeling in time though I may even make a log cabin quilt 
...
