They went from our stan board to Washington in 1966. Yingling
died not long after. Both were excellent pilots. Bill had many
classified missions in the B-47 recons before coming to B-52s.

I have been in some pretty rough landings in the C-47. A fine pilot
almost put us upside down landing at Mitchel one night.
As a navigator, I got lots of stick time in it. In some of the
really long missions out or E. Harmon in NEAC, eveyone had to fly.
