I have some 3 1/2" floppys with which I should do that.

I've seen it before. I think the dead ones are the lucky ones. I've seen
too many so crippled by their crash, they shouldn't even be at the track.
Too much of a reminder of what can happen to you. Although I do understand
their desire to stay in the sport. Once you get it in your blood, you
can't get rid of it.

The mixture is so rich, that it forms a liquid and fills the cylinders,
thus the heads popping off and pistons flying out is due to the hydraulics
involved with liquid fuel. Once you have a fire start with that stuff,
it's very hard to extinguish. Almost like trying to put out a napalm fire.
I've seen the top fuel dragsters go from 7 and 6 second machines in the
60s, to 4 second machines in the 80s. They can't go any faster, safely, so
the NHRA has crippled the technology to keep them in the high 4 second
bracket. IMO, Top Fuel and Funny cars should be eliminated from competing.
I only watch the TV coverage when the Pro-Stock cars and motorcycles run,
because of that thinking.

Too bad. The bra ads are much nicer to watch. :o)
