You know, I seem to recall that I did exactly the same thing. I
fiddled around with the memory model, and maybe some other things. I
needed a 'compact' model, then switched it back. *Then* I couldn't
compile 'stream' on anything.

This is not exactly the same symptoms as my case. I could not compile
anything useing 'stream' objects regardless of whether I had edited
the source.
