subject: Re: HD-DVD Blu-ray drives getting FORCED upgrade?

From: "Rich Gauszka"

The news said they would include update keys on new high-def DVDs.
Currently the update software appears to be targeted for PCs as they
haven't determined any breach for the standalone players. There is a key
revocation
'feature' built into Blu-ray but I haven't seen anything published on it's
specifics as AACS is quite secretive on that. Supposedly, in theory, they
can target the individual player responsible for the breach.

I wonder if the hackers will break 8 days this time?
