It's not closed, it's just that someone who says he saw a UFO and has a
picture is rated higher in my mind than someone who says they were abducted
and had an anal probe done to them with no proof at all.

Science is a method of proof, ether positive or negative, no proof is
called belief not science. I have beliefs, for example I believe that time
is an illusion of perception and the future is as set as the past and that
there is no such thing as free will. I just have no proof so it's not
science.
