Combined I spent over 10 years in the USA in stretches of up to 4 months. Those
in Z1 with direct knowledge of me will confirm my understanding, and accent,
are pretty good. And as Bjorn will mention, my spelling and grammar in general
is better than a lot of the so-called native speakers.
