Dear Ruth, 
    I have not heard from Rachel [with her calling me] but will be 
patient until she has time and energy to enjoy a chat. 
   Yes, i tried the Elmers, it was the first thing that i thought of. 
They seemed no stronger and stuck to the wax paper [thank goodness it 
wasn't my cookie sheet] i was drying them on. 
   I have changed my mind about doing them.  No time to 'fight the 
weather'.  I've got to get them ready and in the mail.  The idea now is 
to cut two matching ornaments out of  felt of different colors and hot 
glue them together, with spices inside and a ribbon on top to hang them 
with.  Decorations will be glitter or 'punched' felt shapes.  I will 
include a little poem about the   'Sweet smell of Christmas'.  
   So it's not very original, i haven't done it for my cards 
before.????? 
   Correction on the cinnamon.  I only bought about 15 bottles.
