BF>WD> Every day thousands of children die of malnutrition alone. They go

The WHO estimates about 9.150.000 child-deaths due to malnutrition ... that's
an annual trend measured since appr.2001 ... meaning since 9/11 there were an
estimated 173.850.000 ...
The combined military expenditure of the US for its campaigns in the MiddleEast
would have been enough to eradicate hunger in the world ... which would empower
people to start thinking about and dealing dealing more freely with other
pressing matters such as international trade, education, woman rights, climate
change, you name it. Of course, companies such as Boeing, Raytheon, Lockheed
and others who are prime weapons producers (OK, Belgian FN also sells to the US
military) have no business incentive promoting peace.
BF> Especially if you live in a country where the president has had one

A friend of mine was a doctor in the CDC (Center for Disease Control USA). He
retired in disgust.
