you're not looking at it "correctly"... think of it this way...
there's a huge difference between 320x400 64 color video and 1280x1024 16
million color video...

as a comparison, there's only 480 scan lines on a CRT based TV... HDTV is
like your hi-resolution computer monitor and has a much clearer and finer
picture than what a normal CRT TV screen can offer...
