on my OS/2 boxen, with SIO and vmodem, i still use the old DOS Telix
version... when i'm on windows, i use either the windows version of QModem
or the windows version of Telix... then there's also Hyperterm...

the key factor you need for transferring files is that the terminal
software you use can handle file transfers encapsulated within the telnet
stream... another nice factor is one that can handle ANSI color codes _and_
the "IBM" character set...

if there's a version of syncterm available for the imacs, i'd say give it a
try and see if you like it ;)
